Care Environment and Breeding Practices:
Our facility operates under a strict “closed care” protocol to ensure the health and safety of our animals. No outside cats are permitted within our care environment, and we do not offer external stud services. To further safeguard our current and future puppies and their new families, we have a no-visitor policy for our foster care.
Ongoing Support and Puppy Health:
Our commitment to you extends beyond the adoption of your puppy. While we wish for a seamless transition into their new home, we acknowledge that various factors influence a puppy’s health, including genetics, exercise, nutrition, and grooming, many of which are outside our direct control post-adoption. While we cannot guarantee against all future health issues, we assure you that we take every precaution to ensure your new family member is healthy upon leaving our care.
Genetic Health Guarantee:
We offer a 5-year genetic health guarantee against life-threatening and untreatable congenital defects, specifically including heart defects of scale 4 or higher and significant untreatable organ disorders. This guarantee does not cover conditions that are treatable.
Addressing Serious Health Issues:
In the unfortunate event that your puppy develops an untreatable, life-threatening congenital defect covered by our guarantee, we will offer a replacement puppy of the same sex, breed, and quality as the original. The adopter will be responsible for any associated delivery costs for the replacement puppy. To initiate a claim, we require a copy of the initial veterinary examination report and any relevant diagnostic results.
Health Screening Procedures:
We prioritize the health of our puppies through rigorous screening processes. This includes health assessments of individuals who interact with our animals and a comprehensive veterinary health checklist conducted by a licensed veterinarian prior to any puppy leaving our care. We also ensure all puppies are current on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been dewormed.
Veterinary Examination Requirement:
To further ensure the well-being of your new puppy and to activate our health guarantee, we require that you have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours of receiving them. This allows for early confirmation of your puppy’s healthy condition upon arrival in their new home.
